One of the largest affordable housing builder in North America, is seeking an Accounting Assistant in its Rancho Cucamonga office. Reporting to a CPA, this opportunity will give a new graduate an opportunity to work in a growing real estate industry as well as work under a strong mentor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the controller with engagement letters, confirmations and correspondences
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to sub-ledgers/supporting schedules
- Coordinate gathering of information and paperwork for auditors
- Maintain audit folders
- Verify invoices
- General office duties, filing, distributing mail
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field
- 1.5+ years of administrative duties accounting experience
- HomeBuilding, Real Estate or Construction industry experience is required
- Yardi Accounting software experience is a plus
Hybrid- Candidate must reside in a commutable distance to Rancho Cucamonga area
Compensation up to $31.25/hour PLUS overtime!
