One of the world’s largest think tank communities with a focus on SaaS is expanding its Creative team with a Director of Events. This role will oversee live events, sponsorships, and paid media from ideation to execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing events with over 10k attendees, leveling up communications, driving community growth, and building programs that enhance sponsor relationships.
This is a hybrid opportunity in the San Francisco Bay area and requires up to 60% travel, domestic and international.
You Will:
- Track overall event logistics
- Lead vendor sourcing and contract negotiations
- Act as the Project Manager for live events
- Oversee ticket sales and session registration to ensure attendee goals are being met or exceeded
- Support the needs of the live event sponsors
- Design attendee product offerings that showcase the value for customers
- Enhance the attendee experience at digital events including quality of content, networking, and meetings
- Develop long-term and short-term marketing campaigns that tie into our overall events strategy
- Increase attendees through a balanced stream of activities
You Have:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Marketing
- 5+ years of hands-on experience planning and executing live events with 10k+ attendees
- Proven track record of running global events
- Proficient in HeySummit, Marketo, Squarespace, Zapier, or similar marketing platforms
- Supervisory experience
Compensation for this role includes a base salary of up to $170k.
