As the People Operations Director, you will use your excellent relationship building and organizing skills, as you work side-by-side with our Global VP of HR, to support the overall planning, coordination, and administration of all People Ops, Recruiting, HRIS and Office programs/functions. This position has four core elements: (1) own the full employee/lifecycle and experience, (2) own the office operations and culture, (3) drive/support the recruiting process, and (4) HRIS.

This is a unique opportunity to enter a developed SaaS start-up and become a catalyst to scale the company to bigger revenue stages. The role itself is an individual contributor role, however, you will have significant support and autonomy to lead and make a huge impact. The company is currently undergoing a slight pivot towards a performance-first culture that drives accountability and ownership at all levels of the organization.

THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY BUT THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ON THE WEST COAST!!

What you’ll do:

  • Design and own the delivery and effectiveness of core People and Culture processes and programs, including:
    • Employee lifecycle activities >>
      • Preparing or maintaining employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
      • Own the employee on-boarding and off-boarding process which includes: drafting offer letters, drafting other new hire/onboarding related materials, tracking onboarding completion and scheduling new hire orientations. Also assist in the offboarding process to ensure thoroughness
      • Manage Annual Performance & Total Pay/rewards processes
    • Benefits planning and administration
    • Compliance and policy management >> Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment laws and regulations; keeping up to date on legislation/policy in the industry that could impact our people strategy
    • Recruiting >> Assist hiring managers with job postings, sourcing, coordination of external recruiters, resume screening, interview scheduling and maintenance of our ATS system
    • Serve as primary contact to assist employees in resolving employee relations issues and grievances by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigation
    • Champion and role model our culture, values, and mission, finding ways to continually strengthen them at the company overall
    • Drive company-wide initiatives that increase employee satisfaction and productivity
    • Develop, plan, execute employee engagement activities that increase employee collaboration and engagement including annual company kick-off.
    • Partner with the VP of HR to manage the day-day operations of the company’s Philippines support team
       

What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in a HR, Operations, HRIS or Recruiting role at a fast-growth tech environment (or equivalent)
  • International Experience (Philippines preferably) is a huge plus
  • Proficiency in Google/MSFT Apps
  • 3+ years of experience working with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, and social media tools
  • Communication is one of your top strengths. You are proactive, clear, and compelling in your written and oral communication, and your high EQ and business acumen mean you can communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary up to $200k.
