Growing boutqiue real estate firm is seeking a VP of Capital Markets to join their team. this person must have deep real estate fundraising experience (family offices, RIAs, Pensions and Instituational parnters), know who to structure funds, report back to investors and oversee all compliance initiatives.

Summary:
Support the company’s goals of growth and expansion by effectively representing the company to new investors and partners
Primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with investors for company sponsored investments
Direct the company's business development through managing the capital markets department, investor relations, debt and equity placement, developing and maintaining a high net worth investor base.
Strategize and support CEO/CFO in financial planning activities
Through the Investment Committee, approves and manages the acquisitions, underwriting and disposition processes for Multi-Family and Commercial properties in multiple states.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development/Capital Markets
- As part of the management team, responsible for establishing strategic direction for the company and influencing policy. The position is also on Partnership Track depending on individual’s performance, contribution and experience
- Develop and implement plans to maintain existing investor base and capture new investors across the spectrum (Institutional, HNW, RIAs, others)
- Responsible for managing and securing debt for company’s existing portfolio and new acquisitions.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, meetings, investor presentations, and events that will support the growth of the investor base.
- Develop and maintain an investor customer service program
- Work with senior team to grow the business by formulating strategies and business plans
Finance
- Work closely with the CEO/CFO on annual capital needs and targets
- Manage process for all capital raises
- Treasury and Capital expenditure matters
Acquisitions
- Work with Director of Acquisitions to set appropriate goals and objectives for the Multi-Family and Commercial Acquisitions Department to achieve the company’s overall investment goals.
- Create and maintain relationships with brokers, banks, owners and oversee acquisitions team in managing broker and investor relationships.
- Evaluate and improve acquisition policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and ensure sound investment decisions.
- Validating investment opportunities and align investments with capital .

Qualifications
- Five to ten years of Capital Markets and Business Development experience in real estate: Strong track record in equity capital raising, strategy, negotiations, marketing, operations and customer service
- Strong understanding of the Real Estate industry
- Entrepreneurial vision and business acumen, able to find growth opportunities in dynamic and competitive environment
- Acumen and independent judgment to interact with high net worth and institutional clientele
- Strong relationship-management ability, both internally and client-facing
- Five years of staff supervision experience and project management
- Bachelor degree or Master's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, Management or related field
- Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency with other MSOffice software and other presentation software
- A strong sense of passion, purpose and sense of humor
