It’s that time again and we’re giving you a food and fun filled weekend. Here’s whats happening:

FRIDAY – SUNDAY

JUN 22-24

FINISH OUT THE WEEK STRONG AT LA BEER WEEK

ALL OVER LA – We know what you’re thinking: “isn’t every week Beer Week?” True, but not every week is as well-organized as the LA Brewers Guild’s lineup, which includes venues hosting stand-up comedy, sumo suit wrestling, sour festivals, and a full-on beer run through nine breweries in Torrance.

FRIDAY – SUNDAY

JUN 22-24

SCARF DOWN PORK BELLY PAD THAI AT CHAO KRUNG

Chao Krung opened as LA’s second Thai restaurant back in 1969, serving up authentic recipes passed down through generations of owner Katy Noochla-Or and Amanda Kuntee’s family. The newly revamped menu has a number of must-try dishes, including Chiang Mai curry noodles, fish sauce wings, and a whole fried fish, along with drink options of craft beer, wine, and coconut cocktails.

FRIDAY – SUNDAY

JUN 22-24

TRY THE NEW TASTING MENU AT LUKSHON

True fine dining experiences are few and far between in Los Angeles, so while you could head up to Vespertine, the bizarro “place of cognitive dissonance” we still haven’t eaten at, we’d much prefer to drop some dining bucket list money on the new tasting menu at Lukshon. The multi-course menu at Sang Yoon’s Asian eatery sports Channel Island Box Crab Miang with shallots, avocado, and Tahitian citrus, as well as grilled Austrian wagyu “au poivre” with cucumber and red gem lettuce.

FRIDAY – SATURDAY

JUN 22-23

KNOCK TRUMP’S TEETH OUT AT MADAME SIAM SIDESHOW EMPORIUM

Madame Siam Sideshow Emporium is a Houston Brothers bar, so you know it’s going to have a sweet hidden entrance, kickass cocktails, and an atmosphere that’ll instantly contend for coolest bar in LA. The venue, which was once a famous speakeasy frequented by Hollywood’s original heartthrob Rudolph Valentino, is now a clandestine carnival-themed bar with games of skill and sideshow acts hidden inside — including one where you’ll hurl bean bags at the faces of Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un.

SATURDAY – SUNDAY

JUN 23-24

INDULGE IN GREAT TUNES AND EATS AT ARROYO SECO WEEKEND

Not only will Neil Young and Jack White be serenading the Rose Bowl grounds for this weekend’s music festival, but Arroyo Seco is also elevating its culinary game thanks to dishes like Freedman’s pastrami Crunchwrap Supreme, Jon & Vinny’s spicy fusilli, and the Lobster Roll with pickled mustard seed, micro celery, and crushed potato chips from Playa Provisions.
